EP. 23 DIY MID CENTURY MODERN BED

Today on Modern Builds, we're back to Mid Century Modern...Finally. This is a queen bed, but the dimensions given in the video can always be sized up or down depending on what you need.

Supplies:

1 sheet of A/B Pine Plywood: From Home Center

1x2 and 1x4 Select Pine for Trim: From Home Center

8 2" metal angle brackets: http://amzn.to/1PUR4mT

Minwax Wood Conditioner: http://amzn.to/1PUR3iY

Minwax Dark Walnut Stain: http://amzn.to/1PUR6LM

Minwax Clear Satin Wipe-on Poly: http://amzn.to/1Rbi0l2

If I were to do this project again, I would have the people at lowe's of home depot cut the three 9" plywood strip on their panel saw. It'll make things a lot faster and squarer.

For This project, I cut the plywood first and then cut all the 1x4's and 1x2's to fit the plywood. If you have a larger or smaller mattress, just add or subtract the difference to the length and width of the bed.

Don't forget to let me know if you have any questions or anything I missed. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
